We are delighted that Lee Jones joined us as Head Chef in September 2013. He brings with him a wealth of expertise and experience, having been a finalist in the Welsh Chef of the Year and the National Chef of the Year competitions.
He has been head chef in numerous establishments throughout the UK and Channel Islands, from gastro pubs to restaurants with 2 and 3 AA rosettes and Michelin stars. One restaurant where he was head chef was voted 3rd best gastro pub in Great Britain.
Amongst others, he has cooked for Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton, Bill Wyman, his beloved Chelsea footballers (!) Ellie Goulding, Richard Gere, Sean Connery ... a seemingly endless list.
And now, we are thrilled that he has come to Sychnant Pass Country House to help us develop our restaurant business.
The restaurant is open 7 days a week to non-residents, though booking in advance in essential. Our ingredients remain of the highest quality, locally sourced wherever possible and our fine wine list offers a wide variety of distinctive wines from around the world to complement your food.
