We know better than most just how much organizing goes into
planning a wedding, we were the first to get married at Sychnant Pass House on
6th November 1999. Our wedding took place at 5:00pm by candlelight. I wish I
could tell you how wonderful the feeling was to get dressed and come down the staircase to the sound of a lone saxophone playing
"Have I told you lately that I love you", it was the most magical
moment of my life. We would wish for every bride to have that same feeling.
The whole day was stress free from the bucks fizz breakfast served in our
bedroom to my hairdresser's arrival. That is why at Sychnant Pass House we only ever have your wedding guests here.
It is your country for your wedding
weekend. Its your wedding - do it your way. Our dogs came to our service
with golden bows to match my dress. Every bride and groom have their own dreams and we are firm believers that dreams should be made to come true.
Wedding
Options
We offer several different
options with as much variation on each of them as you need (we hope).
A
small intimate wedding with a maximum of up to 50 guests in Sychnant Pass House. Plus an extra 15
or so
guests
in the evening.
A wedding of 80 minimum to 100 guests followed by a reception
in a marquee with up to 20 extra guests in the evening
A wedding of 100 + on the front terrace in the garden that we have just designed for this,
to make best use of the garden for you wedding photographs. Or if you get
married elsewhere we can cater for considerably more. There is also on option to invite more guests in the evening.
We have had many weddings since our own and each one was
distinctly different. That’s why
we don’t have menu choices, we would rather you come and talk to us about what
you would like and we will try and accommodate where ever possible.
There are always some limitations as to what we can do but the benefits
outweigh the problems. We have no function rooms here; you have your own country
house for your wedding. There are
no tacky signs and every effort is made to make you feel completely at home.
For that reason we ask every bridal party to take all the accommodation
available for the weekend, so the party atmosphere starts with dinner on Friday
and continues right through until Sunday.
