Ours was the first wedding at Sychnant. It took place at 5:00pm by candlelight. I wish I could tell you what a wonderful feeling it was to come down the staircase to the sound of a lone saxophone playing "Have I told you lately that I love you", it was the most magical moment of my life. We want every couple to feel as we did. That’s why we only ever have exclusive weddings at Sychnant. You have your own Country House for your wedding day.  Whether it's a big party in our marquee or a small intimate wedding in the house it's your day - do it your way. Our dogs came to ours with golden bows to match my dress.  Every couple has their own dreams and we are firm believers that dreams should be made to come true. We have tried to cater for all eventualities but we here to listen and opened to suggestions. Over the years we've had lots of very personal weddings with dogs as bridesmaids, a horse at the bay window so he could be involved in the ceremony and a lone piper on the drive piping out the wedding party for their fizz on the terrace.  Have you always dreamed of a marquee wedding, we have our own marquee and there is no extra charge for it. Wedding days fly past, we've had many memorable wedding weekends where the bridal party arrive on Friday, have supper 'en famille' , a great ice breaker for both families and it simply makes your special day last longer and be less stressful.
